About Us

The Longcrofts family have been in the transport business for over 30 years, specialising in pallet distribution of goods for a diverse range of industries throughout the UK. In October 2009 we moved to a new, larger premisis to enable us to offer storage facilities for our larger customers. These premesis are alarmed and situated on a large secure industrial estate with controlled access.

In common with many road hauliers, we are now in partnership with a pallet hub, The Pallet Network (TPN). TPN is one of the largest and fastest growing pallet hubs in the UK and Longcrofts are proud to be their member for the SG postcode area. Membership enables us distribute large volumes of pallets quickly and efficiently throughout UK and Europe.

Although pallet distribution still forms the backbone of our business, we now transport heavy plant and equipment throughout the UK, using two machine trailers and a specially customised 7.5 tonne "beaver-tail" truck.
